Cavan may not have won much in recent years but they it's a county steeped in history and who's to say success can't happen again soon.
Remember their U21 team from 2011? They lost to Galway in the All Ireland final but in the semi final they recorded this impressive 1-10 to 0-08 win over a good Wexford side.
Parnell Park (Dublin) 18 April 2011 - and bear in mind this match took place just 3 days after they won the Ulster U21 title.
In 1995 their seniors made it to the Ulster Final after this exciting semi-final display against Monagahan, winning 1-9 to 0-10.
Unfortunately they lost the Ulster final to Tyrone that year.
And no mention of Cavan would be complete without referring to that most famous of All Ireland wins - 1947 in the Polo Grounds New York.
Result - Cavan 2-11 : Kerry 2-07
