Full match - who needs Netflix!

Antrim make the All Ireland final in 1989 - their last appearance was 43 years earlier in 1946. Their opponents Tipperary who, unbelievably, hadn't won a title in 18 years, not since 1971.

Hurling made big headlines in 1989, dominated by the Tony Keady affair. Keady was banned by the GAA after being found 'guilty' of playing illegally in an exhibition match in New York. Then Antrim beat a fancied Offaly in the semi-final and a dream spot in the final.
But the final part of the fairytale didn't happen as Tipp were decisive winners 4-24 to 3-09.
