Terrific Point On The Volley - Cavan v Donegal 1992

1992 - This outstanding piece of skill from Damian O'Reilly of Cavan deserves it's place on this site and a 'like' click from visitors surely! He hits a lobbed ball on the volley, from a difficult angle, and hooks it over the bar. Terrific!
It was the Ulster Championship Quarter Final of 1992. Though Donegal went on to win Ulster and the All Ireland that year it could have been different as they were pushed to the pin of their collar in this QF game against Cavan which ended in a hard fought draw at 1-15 each. In the replay Donegal had a decisive win.
