Joe Canning - A Little Bit of Magic

This is a piece of action that has been mentioned to us quite a bit since we started requesting suggestions and feedback for the site. Glad to oblige as it merits an apprection.

It was Galway v Cork in Phase 3 of the 2011 hurling qualifiers on Saturday 9th July, in The Gaelic Grounds. This quick thinking and perfectly executed piece of indivual skill from Joe Canning stands out as one of the best moments in the 2011 championship.
Galway won 2-13 to 1-14 but that's as far as it went for Galway in the campaign as they lost out by 10 points to Waterford in the Quarter Final.
